Practice setting: Acute Care Hospital
Full-Time: 36 hours per week
Shift length: 12 hours
Shift: Nights - (1845-0700)
Weekend Requirement: As needed
On-call Requirement: As needed

Job Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of at least 6 months in Med Surg Exp
Current state of Oklahoma license as a Registered Nurse.
Education - Graduation from an accredited nursing program.)
Certifications - BLS and NIH from (AHA)



Job Description/General Duties:



The Med-Surg Registered Nurse will develop and implement total nursing care for patients by assessment, nursing diagnosis, and patient care plans, and provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Develop systems to provide care to a population including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Unit opening for overflow pts. 12-bed unit. Staffing 1:4-5 (depending on acuity). A medical surgical telemetry nurse, or telemetry nurse, monitors patients' vital signs and physiological parameters using telemetry equipment. They work in hospitals and other clinical facilities to care for patients with a range of conditions, including heart failure, diabetes, and gastrointestinal diseases.



Pay and Benefits details:

Annual Pay: $56,160 - $72,617 per annum (36hr week)
