Job Description: RN --- Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) Position Overview TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a dedicated RN --- Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) for travel assignments . This role involves providing direct patient care to individuals with a wide range of medical conditions in a fast-paced hospital environment . The ideal candidate has strong clinical assessment skills, critical thinking abilities, and adaptability to handle various patient cases. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with diverse medical and surgical conditions. Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and assess patient progress . Assist with wound care, IV therapy, and post-operative recovery . Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams . Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-hospital care . Recognize and respond to changes in patient conditions and medical emergencies . Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records. Travel to various healthcare facilities for temporary assignments . Qualifications Education: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license . Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in a Medical-Surgical unit . Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred. Skills: Proficiency in medication administration, patient assessment, and critical thinking .
