  • Job Details
  • 13-week assignment for an open ICU.
  • The unit is a medical ICU, Surgical ICU, CVICU and neuro ICU.
  • Staffing ratio in ICU is 1:2 with the occasional 1:3 for ICU patients.
  • Low census may result in floating to CVCU, which is a 1:4 staffing, or to ED to care for hold patients with the same patient ratios.
    • Job Requirements
    • At least 2+ years of experience - Required
    • Traveler will work CVICU, ICU, & MSICU (Med/Surg) - Required
    • Recent traveler experience - highly preferred
    • Work History
    • Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty
    • 2 Supervisory Reference Forms, taken within the last two years
    • Licensure & Certifications (OK State License or compact & BLS - AHA, NIH, ACLS - AHA, & PALS - AHA)
      • Schedule Information
      • Orientation for Nursing Travelers starts on Thursdays.
      • Call Policy - On Call paid out at $2 per hour with 1 Hour Minimum.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • The unit consists of two sections containing a 14-bed unit and a 12-bed unit.
        • Patient's placement is determined based on bed availability not by reason for admittance.
          • Additional Details
          • Facility will consider local candidates at a reduced rate.
          • Multipliers - No increased rate for OT, Holiday, and Call-Back.
          • Rebate - This client has a rebate of 1% of all billings related to this assignment; passthrough expenses are not subject to any rebates.
          • Local Policy - Applicants within 50 miles of Comanche County will be considered for a placement at 11% less the travel rate.
