qualified PCU RN in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73104 About The
Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgical Specialty Job
Specialty: Surgical Oncology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12 Hr,
Stepdown or Med Surg required Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Current RN License or current
multistate compact RN License (eNLC) Certifications: - Current
Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association
Must-Have: - Oncology experience Job Description: - Provide nursing
care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems
ranging from simple to complex. - Assume responsibility for an
assigned group of patients. - Document patient responses to nursing
interventions and prescribed medical treatments; note all changes
in physician orders for assigned patients. - Assist physicians in
the examination of patients and in performing minor diagnostic
procedures and treatment. - Obtain and monitor physiological data
of patients, observing physiological manifestations and intervening
when necessary. - Administer prescribed medications and manage
intravenous infusions and blood products. - Deliver patient care
competently. - Engage with family and patients in sharing the care
plan during hospital stay and upon discharge. - Inform patients and
family of hospital procedures. - Make referrals regarding patient
care needs to appropriate personnel. - Delegate tasks to support
staff as needed. - Perform other duties as assigned. Skills &
Experience: - Proficient in professional nursing theory, practices,
techniques, and procedures. - Ability to organize, plan,
coordinate, and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing
techniques. - Good verbal and written communication skills. -
Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of
patients and visitors. - Basic computer skills. Education
Requirements: - Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited
program (required). - Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing
Board Approved Program (preferred). Languages: - English: Speak,
